Zane was the Penn State ASA Student Chapter’s Webmaster and Student Council Representative! He currently serves as the rep for TC EA!
Zane received his BS in electrical/computer engineering at The University of Texas at Austin in May 2018, specializing in audio signal processing. As a Ph.D. student funded through the Architectural Engineering department at Penn State, he is working on a virtual acoustics project seeking to reduce computational complexity of room acoustics simulations by accounting for limitations in the acuity of auditory perception. He also has a background in live sound engineering, audio production, and playing in metal/rock bands.
