In the early fall, the student chapter held a booth at the event “Ask a Scientist” at the Grange Fair in rural Centre County, PA. People of all ages came by to ask us about sound and participate in a demonstration of visualizing their own voice through a real-time spectrogram. Children loved screaming and singing into the microphone to see how much they could make the screen light up!
