Inspired by recent articles highlighting collaborations between Penn State acousticians and Martin Guitars (read more here), the student chapter reached out to Martin Guitars for a tour in January. The drive to Nazareth, PA to see the Factory was definitely worth it! Besides admiring the excellent workmanship and the fascinating balance of modern and traditional guitar-making techniques, our group got a little extra insight into Martin’s R&D involving acoustics.
