Lily Hetherington

Lily is a master’s student in the Acoustics department at Penn State. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Architectural Engineering and her Bachelor’s of Art in Cinema Studies at the University of Colorado – Boulder. Her master’s project focuses on outdoor sound propagation in the Martian atmosphere, under advisement by Dr. Vic Sparrow. Outside of acoustics, Lily enjoys spending time rock climbing and stargazing.
