Jeff Bell

Jeff is a 2nd year PhD student studying numerical methods for solving the Westervelt Equation with applications in medical ultrasound as part of the Sound Innovation of Metamaterials and Biomedical Acoustics (SIMBA) lab led by Dr. Yun Jing. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 2022 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics, B.M. in Piano Performance, and M.A. in Mathematics. He still enjoys making music whenever possible as well as playing racquetball, volleyball, and a quality board game.
